A COLLEGE PROFESSOR IS HELPING REDUCE STUDENTS STRESS—BY LETTING THEM CHOOSE THEIR GRADES

Winchester, VA – In this Celestial Musings, CSC media group reports that University of Georgia STEM professor Rick Watson – STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math—is allowing students who feel stressed out, or think that their class performance is inferior, to not only opt out of group projects and leave student groups, but is allowing them to choose the grades they want. You heard me right. The students can slack off, and choose the grade they want to protect their delicate feelings. Not only does this devalue the grades that others have worked so hard to achieve, but don’t you be concerned when you’re driving across the bridge that that stressed out student built, you know, the one who gave himself an A in math instead of the C he deserved. I’m sure all the structural tolerances are well within specification. Unless he was stressed that day too.
