Iraqi Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena are working on plans to return to Mosul

Winchester, VA – In This Celestial Musings, Aleteia reports that the Iraqi Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena are working on plans to return to Mosul and be with their people. They posted a letter on their website which said, “…it is not easy to decide whether to go back to Mosul or not. Some people still try to understand what the will of God is. If ISIS is defeated that does not mean that the Plain of Nineveh is entirely cleansed from that mentality.” They plan on moving into a local family home until their convent in Qaraqush can be restored to habitable condition. The sisters have declared their faith that God is with them and will not leave them. May indeed God bless and keep in their brave endeavors.
