WASTE FROM POT FARMS IS SO TOXIC THAT IT CAN LAND YOU IN THE HOSPITAL

Winchester, VA – Reuters reports that the runoff waste from illegal marijuana farms in California forests is so toxic, law enforcement officials who have come into contact with it have been hospitalized. Not only are the marijuana farmers using restricted and banned pesticides and fertilizers, but they are using them in quantities that far outstrip the 2014 estimates by the U.S. Forest Service, when they first raised the red flags over this issue. Even at sites which have supposedly been cleaned up, 30-50% of the polluting chemicals still remain.  Because it is so expensive and dangerous to clean up the waste, there are some 639 illegal marijuana farms waiting to be restored.
