Thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback on your new venue. First, I happened across your show when I bought a car that had Sirius installed and a year’s free subscription. I am a convert to Catholicism (my family and I were Lutherans, and converted on November 9, 1996 (feast of the Lateran Basilica), and was very pleasantly surprised to find someone who spoke the truth on the air. In short order you became a staple of my morning commute to a beltway bandit (we prefer to be called “highway helpers”) south of DC. At the end of the year, I realized that your show constituted my predominant use of Sirius, but I renewed just for your show. My current subscription runs out on December 24th, and it won’t be renewed.
Several months ago circumstances presented me the opportunity to pursue a becoming a day trader. I loved being able to work from home (and it’s more grueling than you may think), but missed being able to listen to your show. I was saddened to learn that Sirius was canceling your show, but thrilled to hear that you were to restart on an internet channel. I stepped up as a founding brother (would do more if I could … day trading isn’t wildly profitable), and started tuning in. I find the new venue to be much more accessible – am able to keep it in a small portion of one of my screens, and toggle sound as necessary. Not that any of your show is mundane, but some segments are particularly captivating, and in such cases I particularly love the ability to just pause, so that I can return to your show when the market settles down. In the evening I can pull up the recorded show and zoom to the most important parts and play it for my wife. I love listening to your show, and to your guests. You speak of the tree of life – with the bark on. I have spoken of you to numerous friends – the first time I’ve ever recommended a radio show to anyone!
God Bless you sir, and may your new venture be a resounding success!
I feel so technological now. For the very first time I am streaming a live show on my phone. I also Bluetooth it through my phone to my car radio. I was worried at first that I would not be able to figure it out but it is surprisingly easy to do. Now I listen all the time anywhere. I have never done this before and it is pretty cool. The only reason I listen to the radio now is for music.
Your show is better than ever! I save the files on my old Stiletto 2, and play the Mike Church Show in my car just like I did before. But now it’s in stereo, and commercial-free! Very cool!
Good morning Mr. Church,
I had an awesome day yesterday hearing your show return by live streaming.
What is even better for me given you are streaming via your website is now I
can listen to your show at my office. Our security restrictions would not
allow me to stream SiriusXM on my work computer and I couldn’t bring my
iphone into our offices either. Most fortunately, your website and
streaming work perfectly both at home and at the office. Great show and
great Wednesday… can’t wait to hear the show today. Have a blessed day.
I have listened to your show for the past several years and loved it. I had a hard time finding a talk show that wasn’t all about “Neanderthal politics” and I stumbled across the Mike Church Show. I was hooked from the start.
After you left Sirius Satellite I was skeptical but thought I would give it a try. Well, I’m here to tell you the show is even better. It seems you have cut loose and have stepped the show up a notch. You have successfully combined the founding fathers principles with modern politics, all through a moral lens.
As far as listening to it over the radio I find it is even easier than before. I can simply download the segments of the show to a thumb drive and plug it into my car and play the show through my car speakers. Or when I forget my thumb drive I can simply play my phones audio player, via Bluetooth, over my car speakers. Or I can simply listen to the live stream. Or I can listen to the live stream and download the show to listen to what I missed at a later time. I can also listen to the downloads on my phone while taking a stroll at lunchtime. Its great, its like having instant replay when you miss something. The beauty is I get to listen to it at my leisure and I do not miss anything.
Actually, until the VERITAS Network started, I had never heard the intro to the show. Love it. There is so much in each segment that I was missing until now.
